Im trying to get my site indexed in google when i put in the information here: http://www.google.com/addurl/ nothing happens after i submit, it basically just goes to a new http://www.google.com/addurl/ page. does this mean it wasn't submitted? shouldn't they tell you if they received your submission! driving me crazy, i did this many weeks ago and now discovered my site still isn't indexed. another thing: how do you tell if your site is indexed by google? if i search www.webtemplex.com i can find it at the bottom of the page. does this mean my site is indexed? , if i search just webtemplex in google i cant find it..
I suggest you to leave the www.google.com/addurl method. And you need gain backlinks from: - article submission - directory submission - press release - forum - more This way really works! Google will be index your site. I personally to use this way and shoot up to top ranking at Google for a keyword that I targeted.
I would be really surprised if google really even uses that submit tool anymore. Getting a site indexed isn't really a problem anymore like it used to be. Just add a couple links to it and it will be added soon enough.
or you create an xml sitemap and submit it through the google.com/webmasters section. That's the fastest, NATURAL way to get indexed and most of your pages at once.
Adding your url to google is an outdated method, you should ad a sitemap to your site in google webmaster tools and build some quality backlinks and you site will be indexed.
