This month I've been receiving an average of 2 cents a click from AdSense. I don't think clicks on my site should be selling for less than 5 cents, and in that case, I think Google should be giving me at least 3 cents A CLICK - minimum. I can't imagine my traffic converts SO horribly that it's worth less than 5 cents. This really is unacceptable to me, but what's a guy to do? I live in Canada, so YPN is out. Are AdEngage and the others worth trying? Today > 22 clicks > $0.25 earnings
What general niche are you in. Many celebrity and entertainment niches get low values. Might be that another site in your portfolio has placed you in "smart pricing".
it "SUCKS " ... I'm from canada to and having the same prob ... sometime i receive more than 150 clicks and 10$ !!
All the world have the same problem, because we all rely on SEO, but I think if you have a unique website like youtube that give anything useful to people you will make real money ...
It is a bad niche. Apparently celebrity sites are the WORST niche, because my numbers couldn't possibly get any lower. Today I averaged a whopping 1.2cents per click, and it sounds like more of you are getting super low numbers too. EVEN if Google demanded a minimum of 5 cents per click (I thought they did have a minimum!?), and took a generous 60% for themselves, they would still owe the webmaster 2 cents for each click. If a webmaster can't somehow get a $25 value out of 500 targetted visitors (.05 x 500), then PPC advertising probably isn't for them. The economics of it just don't make sense, and it makes you wonder what Google is doing!
While hardly spectacular, those numbers are at least understandable. You're still getting close to 7 cents a click. Some are getting nowhere near that.
