Is there a way of having google search return only ads based on keywords? I have a search engine for my site and i want to add ads on my result page based on the keywords the person is searching on. I've tried adsense but in order to have relevant ads google has to parse my result pages. so for every first search I ussualy dont get releveant ads, and if i where to be able to send keywords to google it would make it way more relevant. I've tried using the hints field but doesnt seem to make any difference until google parses my pages after the first term search is done. If i use google search product and do a search it returns ads relevant to my search terms so is there a way of using that tool, sending a search and having it return ads only so i can parse them and display them? Thanks for your help Tachu
You would need to get 20 million or more page views per day and become a AdSense Premium Service partner.
Check this news search engine I have done. Search for something well known and the ads seem to match the query. Strange no?
there a trick you can play. for example, if they search for "what the heck is the best hosing?" you take only the work hosting in and display search.cgi?q=hosting, but you post the whole string into the form, so the search result is correct, but let adsense think it is from q=hosting, so they will only match the keyword with hosting. there is not TOS broken if you do that.
there must be a script that you can use in your search.php or asp to show ads in results try search in hotscript
Make sure you prominently display the person's search query on the results page. That should at least help.
