    Just a quick question.

Do certain special characters such as » or ® make any difference in relations to writing Google ads, for example, improve rank or quality score?

The reason I ask is one my colleagues advised me to use them when i write new ads, and as I am fairly new to PPC I am unsure of the benefits if any, and I am unable to find information in regards to this on Google search.

    Thanks in advance.

Technically : NO. It has nothing to do with the quality score or Rank.

Logically : It depends. If your business has a registered trademark (®) you can use this in your ad text, and for a viewer a trademark May appeal more then normal ads and they might click on your ads first. that means a improved CTR and thus a lower CPC AND a better position.

It does not and wont work in all situations. So the best way to know is to test 2 different ads one with the ® and 2nd without that thing and see which one gets better results.

If you decide to do the test, do report back the results. Would be an interesting find.

No, this would not help you to improve your Ad Rank or Quality Score, Somebody has misguided you about the Quality Score

You can refer this link for information about Quality Score at here : https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2454010?hl=en

If you are new to AdWords you should choose professional AdWords company. They will help you to make relevant ads and that will increase your quality score.
