    Well, Google buys everything nowadays. That is actually my ultimate goal.

    I never knew GrandCentral.com even existed.. cool.. although I doubt I'd actually use it...

    Might be cool if I had a larger business

    As for Google buying it... it's a good way for them to enter in the telecommunications market... good grab.

    There's no official word on the purchase price but it is believed to be in the $50 million range.:eek:

    i think google will buy digital point for the next and it will prohibit saying bad think about its services :p

    this Grand Central service is pretty darn good.
    Google is just about everywhere..
    I thought Mr Softy was bad..
    but at least Google has invested in good quality products/companies though

    I agree and personally i don't think they paid over the odds for it either. It would be a great addition to the google network and i'm sure many other users will join it especially as it will now be moving within google itself.

    I just read about this as well - so i went and checked out the site - but you cant' join or anything you can just fill out the form to be put on a waiting list. it is sort of the same thing that i do already with vonage - so i hope i can just transfer over my numbers.
