I have been working on off page seo for 12 hours a day for the last 2 month for one website. I reached a steady number 6 on google.co.uk for a very competitive search term.

2 days ago, I got to number 2! My friends were pointing out that i was 6th still, but my search shows 2nd for two days.

I figured that it could my google account changing the order of the sites as I visit my site the most.

I just logged out and checked, and it shows i am still 6th. Which shows that google were changing my results, making them personal.

We were all using google.co.uk to compare.

Wow, you've been working your butt off. Congratulations on reaching such a high position for such a competitive term.

Is it paying off for you?

Yes it is paying off! I hope to be 5th by next week and so on. But I am working around the clock, trying to get it to the top for 6 different search terms.

Has anyone else noticed that google serves different results when they are logged in?
