Google a DigitalPoint Subscriber?

Just noticed today that Google is a DigitalPoint Subscriber - the banner on my page today shows "Search Engine - Google - The Search Engine!" with a link to Google.com. Do they really need this tool to get traffic - or is it something more sinister?

Been away for a month or so - so apologies if this has been a talking point & I missed it...

Its not against TOS. Someone is pointing their excess weight at Google, even though there is a new feature in the Coop that allows users to cap their weight.

As far as I know you can't point weight at sites you don't own. This was to avoid negative rep for the coop by google bombing your competitors........

    DP Coop TOS

Also, the ad wouldn't have been approved if it wasn't allowed. And there's no way to change where it points after you submit the ad for review.
