If the keyword targeting for this purpose isn't competitive, its possible to gain first page within 3-4 months. If you try ranking at google UK, .co.uk tld will be great for SEO, local tld will give you good effect for local SE. Don't build a lot backlinks at first month if this is brand new website. Well it depends on the competition. if you have a low competition then you can get high ranks in 3 to 4 months just for sure otherwise it can take a longer time
