Hello Everyone, I am in the middle of a large site/network re-design for the company I work for, and I am wondering if it is really worth having Google +1 on every page, or am I best just leaving it to the home page. I've looked and looked and I can not seem to find anything that says that if a certain page gets a bunch of +1s that it will be ranked any higher than your main page, or better for the keywords that are on that page. Does anyone have or have seen a good break down of how the +1 system is supposed to work in relation to searches? Sure it looks good, look to the top of the page, 597 google +1s for this site, but it is still not where I would expect in when I do a google search, and I don't see any of the sites ranking above Digital point having a "better" +1 count. Suggestions in a reply please.
I'd put the social networks on all of your pages, just keep them in the same area on the page. Twitter, FB, Google+ etc. As for the search engines....even if it appears that Google isnt using using the +1's for their rankings that doesnt mean that it won't be incorporated in the future. Its still a very new service. They just announced that they are adding +1's to Google Adwords next month, so I'd expect them to keep adding +1's to all of their services.
I don't think +1 will have a lot to do with the sites rank on Google, but I wouldn't certainly hurt to put Google +1 in every page.
it does have a lot to do with your rankings your search results come up first for your friends the more you have
Right that with the +1 you can get more traffic to your site. And as your site get traffic , google will notice it and then if google find meaningful information on your site, then your site can get top position in search result.
i think G+ cannot take effect on our page rank, but it will help you to find the article on your G+ checklist
Actually it depends on your mind but from my point of view you can add google + page on your home page. it can help to increase your traffic, I am not sure will it really work.
I think putting all social networking links on every page in the same location is a perfect idea. Not sure if it has to do with you're ranking, but it can't hurt.
Different social media platforms offer different types of services for different purposes. We cant compare these platforms on general terms, in fact all have their own type of users with different backgrounds. Twitter is more useful for instant messaging and bookmarking purposes and internet marketing experts like it for social media bookmarking. Face book is more popular in young graduates and very useful for social movements. Linked In is an attraction for professionals and companies to project their human resource expertise. Google+ is relatively new in the market and it needs time to attract specific audience that will become a trend for it.
yes Google+ is the best features oof Google why? so because it's link will countable for back link so i am use it.
I think with +1 google tries to discover the possibility to use social search- i am sure that they have internal search based on +1.
so far I can see that Google+ 1 helps in terms of traffic generation, though there's a possibility to get a good rankings when a certain post become so popular and received a lot of +1
Thanks for your input everyone. I'm not sold on the idea of Google +1 as it relates to the business that the company I work for is in, which is very specific, you know us or you don't, you know what the product is or you'll never know nor will you ever use one. I thought Google Stars what a good idea, but that seems to have died a death now, it seemed to make things easier. I think I will go with the Google +1 on every page, same location thing, and for the sake of being slightly insain I will add twitter as well, but that is about it, no need for facebook. I might see of some of the specific forums/groups have icons, that would look good.
