Is Google the most honest search engine?

    Bored senseless this morning.
Thought I would entertain myself – idleness is the devil’s workshop.
Note the SERPs (rounded off) for the following searches (with quotation marks) –

    Search Engine- Google-MSN-Yahoo
    “google sucks” 19K . . 9K . . 14K
    “msn sucks” . . 3K . . . 9 . . . 3K
    “yahoo sucks”. 14K . . 14K . 15K

Notice how that 9 jumps out at your face – MSN is the LEAST HONEST search engine.
There are over 3,000 pages that contain “MSN sucks”.
Yet, MSN can only find NINE of them!!!

Although Yahoo seems very honest about the SERPS,
I think that Google is even MORE HONEST!

    Comments?

Very odd if you click the top link on MSN when you do "msn sucks" its a link for a search on MSN with the results of "msn sucks" that return 2500 results.

    Aaron -
    Ya got me! Great observation.

    Wow, that is really weird.
I had not noticed it before - I just looked at the number of results.

WHAT IS that #1 SERP result? Bizarro!
You took the fun out of it! Your sharp eyes have introduced another question, though. What is that #1 result?

    My search - xttp://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=%22MSN+sucks%22&FORM=QBHP
    First SERP - xttp://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=%22MSN+sucks%22&first=81&FORM=PDRE8

    What does this mean? &first=81&FORM=PDRE8

Has anyone ever seen anything similar to this kind of NUMBER ONE result?

Upon further checking, the search on MSN for "Google sucks" has no such weird result.
However, the search on MSN for "yahoo sucks" also offers a very weird number one result.

Ain't this fun? See, I can bore you too! Replies not required.
    Why do I do this? Background= http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/politics/who-sucks.htm

Sounds like someone played a little trick on MSN and decided to submit the url into its own index. Funny that MSN's own algo didn't catch it.

Wonder what would happen if we submitted this URL to msn?
