whats its importance i just know its good for getting indexing on Google search engine but now also without using that tool mine site is indexed very well ...

yes, it is useful.

 

Sitemaps submission, content analysis and external links monitoring are some of the best uses of Google's webmaster Tools.

 

Google Webmaster Tools can also use to detect inbound links in more detail, also a duplicated content and meta tags issue. It can point out the real problem in your website in most possible aspect. That is a real use of GWT. I hope they could implement more useful features such as competitor analysis.

To use google webmaster tool you need to create a sitemap of your website/blog. There are lots of free sites that offer creation of sitemaps, use one to create ur own sitemap. It will output a xml file, simply submit the xml file to google webmaster tool, then it will parse automatically. It will help you to gain quick exposure.

 

why don't you try and use it yourself? why being so lazy?

 

You do not need to use Google Webmaster Tools, but it certainly won't hurt you. It's just Google's way of showing you as a siteowner what they know about you, any particular problems going on with your site and also show you how you rank and for what. You do not need to use it, but it's free and can help you understand your sites and traffic better, so my question is more of:

Webmaster tools is great. If you want Google to see your site really quickly (I've had some sites indexed in a space of a week), you've got to use webmaster tools. Include a sitemap when submitting you website while using webmaster tools and you should be fine.

It also gives you a general overview of the position of your website on the web. I use both webmaster tools and Google analytics and they both give me great data about all my sites.

If you're serious about websites and AdSense, webmaster tools is a must.
