Google’s ambition to maximise the personal information it holds on users is so great that the search engine envisages a day when it can tell people what jobs to take and how they might spend their days off. http://www.ft.com/cms/s/c3e49548-088e-11dc-b11e-000b5df10621.html Orwellian, eh muahaha!
later people will know and can search about what other people are doing and going to do from google SE XD
Personally I find it very worrying that google needs so much information about me that eventually I will have to ask them "Hey Google, What am I doing tomorrow"? In a way this means google will decide my future, What the heck? I am a great admirer of google but I would never want them to decide my future.
Its not so good for general public in various aspects but if Google AI works up to expectations then it would help lot of ppl. Though its good for Google because for Google its like organizing world's 'money'
of course I know what it means....I guess the joke passed you by...maybe you'll catch it next time....
Wow, that's almost depressing. But I definitely see where it's true. Thank you very much for sharing that link.
I think in this mission they are aiming to make the day to day easier. So far so good. I know when map quest came along is was the best thing ever. Now google maps is here and I never go to mapquest. VHS vs BETA... They are making small wins in a lot of places and tying them together and compounding them. No one is better at integration of aps than google. Love the single sign on. Adwords + Google Analytics = killer app Look for lots of acquisitions in googles future and lot of new services.
Honestly, I don't see the trouble with Google getting too far in our lives', to say it so. If I don't want to let anyone or anything actually (Google) enter my private space, I won't let it happen. I'll just close the Google's window, that's all. As for their overall strategy - no surprise at all they want to expand over and over.
