It is too early to say anything but we have to see the both companies success in the past. :)

I like to give it a chance.

At least, it is cheaper than win.

Microsoft are clever and they have agreements in place with most manufacturers of computers. I think that Chrome may make an impact on personal computer users, but for business that's different. Think about it the whole wrold runs on windows and if you replace your PC and it has chrome installed but all the rest of your PC's are still running windows then there are compatibility problems, so what do you do as a business owner you stick with the tried and trusted windows. The only way to change it is to replace all your kit across your organisation and in this current financial climate who has the money to do that just to get the chrome operating system?

So does Google, including Acer, Asus, and HP.
In what way? Plenty of businesses run all Macs. Are you saying that doesn't work?
ChromeOS and its applications are free.

Google is so funny .. they are complaining about Microsofts monopoly .. and what is Google? They are the biggest monopoly of the world, I don't even know of a company that is bigger than Google. They have their stuff everywhere. Google Health is just another market they want to control.

Here are some reasons why Google Chrome will fail anyway:

They do lots of good stuff but they should not attack Microsoft for being a monopoly.

No matter what Google is working on, I'll stick to my MS Windows PC for the next couple of years ;)

Absolutely false! Microsoft has been declared an illegal monopoly on two continents and fined $2 billion dollars (and still mounting) while no legal entity has charged Google with that. Dominating a market does NOT automatically make you a monopoly. Also, there are many companies far larger than Google, including Microsoft.
Your link is an article about why ChromeOS MIGHT fail and even gives reason why it might be a good thing.
