Considering they make $3000 a month, 10k is cheap.. but it depends if that figure was constant or not :p

Wow I cant believe I missed it.
Either way sorry for that guy.
Though just over 3 months revenue for such a well known site.. damn.
He should have "sold" it to himself or got around that somehow. I feel sorry for that guy.

Either way, whoever bought it for 10k will have his work cut out for him.

Yeah... cheap.. but even at 10k it was a risk.
the risk was... there is a probability that Chinese govt. ban this site too (as it already bands millions of sites) and in that case.. its like 98% traffic GONE! lol

if he would have had payment gateway integrated in the script (like proxy.org) this figure would have been much much higher!

    edit:
i also wonder, why cannot he host the site on non-Chinese server? it dont make any difference if he lives in china or not... he can always get US server!! do i smell something? :D :D

Doesn't matter, the Chinese government can ban that domain in their DNS record.

Internet in china is getting strict now. You need to register with your real name and address to create a blog:eek:

I have never heard of GoodWaiter.com, but in direct response, I'm preparing to launch EvenBetterWaiter.com. Will sell for $20,000 :D

i wonder why Chinese people are co-operating! but yes, they do have some very very strong unity.

but still, every man is born free and it is his birth right to access ANY information available on the net. I'd surely laugh on a day when Chinese people will protest and kick their govt's a$$ for not allowing them to enjoy what we call... "Free World!"

Maybe somewhat unrelated, but could anyone provide any information why China bans all these sites?
