This posts looks too unreal to me. Firtly look at this:
Do you think Google will get in copiright issues with delicious for that?

    And also this:
This is more like a parody of the current AdSense TOS for publishers.
So I would say don't believe in a word of this post. It's just to announce it as some "breaking" news and gain some unseen popularity and discussions (just like this here).

Is this bogus? Can anyone provide a link to an article about this?

Unless it is official news from Google then you have to believe that it is bogus.

    I disagree.

Of course it doesn't matter, because it isn't real to begin with.

    But if it was.

People will still be able to trick Google, they will just have to do it in different ways. For example they might do something like a stumble exchange.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

Anyone who believes this needs a serious slap on the back of the head, this would invite nothing but a world of trouble onto google.

I don't understand why this would be so bad? If they aren't going to update PR, it's worthless right?

It's the funniest thing I have ever heard about google and PR.
Even if PR will go away it will happen because it's integrity has been compromised.
And they will start this method instead?
This is even more unreliable. In fact it is less reliable than alexa's traffic metrics.

You apparently did not read since this thread has nothing to do with when the next PR update is.

    Sad

    Illiteracy is rampant.

His post is just in topic. He tells about Matt Cutt's mention about the next PR update (which means Google has no intentions to kill Page Rank).

    This thread should be deleted.

How can a Google employee talk about the next pagerank update if they intend to replace it with page rate. Anyway, Yahoo owns the rights to page rate so this thread is simply full of bs.

As I noted above, this thread should be deleted.
