Good Webhost In India

I am looking for a good webhsot in india
Till now I have worked with Rediff and Manashosting.
    Rediff is just too costly
Manashosting was ok for the first year but now after renewing it for second year I found the MYSQL server to be down at least 2-3 hour/week
I am looking for good reputed companies, which should have a good service help desk.

    Any suggestion.

And Manashosting has servers in the US, don't they ?

Rediff being costly is justified since their servers are here itself in India and everyone knows how costly the bandwidth is here.

Anyways, suggestions would be better if only if you probably tell us what exactly are you looking for.

    Thanks

I am not that technically knowledgeable when it comes to webhsoting stuffs.
A small site for which I am very much responsible is getting popular every day and we just cant afford the site to remain offline for hours because of MySQL server down.

The site is running on Drupal and the statistics for last month are like
10,000 pageviews/day and 10GB+ Bandwidth for the whole month

But the number of unique vistors/pageviews/Bandwidth usage are increasing @ 200% per month and I don’t expect the saturation to come before another 6-8 months

So after couple of months I expect the Bandwidth to be around 100 GB+ / Total space required is 2GB and 500Mb of My SQL space should be sufficient.

And my buget is no that high. At max I can afford $500/year

Which webhost should I go for

Hmm... even now, the sites in ur siggy are having MySQL problems.. Still using Manashosting ?

Well, with that much of a Budget, you can get hold of a managed VPS.

If possible, get in touch with me via IM. I'mm PM you the addresses.

    Thanks

    Thanks SEO Guru
I am just going through jodohost and it seems to have few good offers
till now all the hosting solutions I have used are linux though I hardly know how it is different from windows
As long as the site is fast and running all the time I don’t bother about other stuffs.

    deodeep
I will ping you on ym
But I rally don’t want to go for a one man managed/small company. The experience with manashosting was so bad that I just cant afford to do the same mistake again.

linux has a better uptime, and supports sef urls, and is cheaper, thats the only reason i prefer it. if u dun want asp.net, i dun see a reason for a windows host. :)

Well, a linux host will be usually cheaper as compared to windows, among other reasons like secure, fast, better at parsing php etc..

Also, I'd personally advice ( and its common sense ) to stay away from one-man managed hosts.

Shared hosting usually has big limits on MySQL resources ( liek you're facing the problem of too many MySQL connections ).
The smartest choice would be to move on a shared grid or even better, a VPS. VPS are usually fully managed and NOT run by a one man army. Try liquid web. They're good.

I recommend the HostIcan VPS which is within your budget and will not cause you CPU or MySQL problems. This is a very reliable host.
