Good Ways to earn Euros? Non-US dollar income?

I want to diverisfy because all my marketing income is in US dollars.

As someone who lives outside of the US, if this currency ever tanks then I will be in severe s**t.

I think its a good idea to diversify into getting Euro payments. Anyone know of any good ways to earn Euros? Not just affiliate programs but anything.

This diversification strategy would even be good for US residents. If your currency tanks then one of your income streams will go up.

You can also convert your Dollars to Euros and save them in bank if you want. Dollar is considered a universal currency at this time and i don't think that it will go down that soon and suddenly.

If he do this, he will lose some money from currency buy/sell rates difference, that's why he (me too) want to know any other income which pays in Euros

I would say hosting coz you can sell your hosting to EU client at their currency but you paid your server cost in US.So you will earn more incase US depreciate in term of value.

Hi, thanks for the tips so far but I think some of you misunderstand.

It is good to convert existing dollar balances as an asset protection strategy.

But if the dollar becomes worthless then what? You cannot live off your euro savings. So I am looking for ways to get euros income.

One method I found is gambling affiliates. Most of them are based offshore e.g. gibraltar, and often pay in GBP or EUR. USD is not the default currency for all gambling affiliates.

rolf I completely understand your problem. I am from the UK, and as everyone knows the value of the GBP is pretty bad at the moment - but it is good for me to recieve payments in USD and convert them. However, if (or when) the GBP goes back up in value, my payments will be worth a lot less. So it is best to secure a rate in GBP.

Depending upon the service I would say you can ask for Euro payments in a number of situations. For example, if you have a site that sells products, simply implement a code that automatically converts the currency at the checkout stage for users who don't use the EUR. That way they will be happy paying their own currency, but your prices with be set in Euro and you will always get the correct, going exchange rate. You can exchange it in PayPal straight away and get the going rate. Failing that, just ask for payments in EUR all the time.

There are not particular services that must be paid in USD, or must be paid in EUR or GBP. It is up to you how you do it. yes, certain users may be put off, but you can make up for this using some of the methods I just mentioned.

well it's hard to get paid in euros beause the doller is considered as a worldwide currency but I think the EUR is the one that will be the most stable one in the future so it's a good idea to try to get paid in Euros.

I loose a lot of money just because I need to work with dollers and live in a Eurocountry
