Good way to manage favorites?

What is a good way to manage your favorites? I don't like the bookmarking in the browsers.

I just create folders for mine and categorise.

 

Are there any freeware or even paid software for managing favorites? If so, what is the best?

 

I think FF has good way of managing bookmarks but you can also put them into folders through I don't recommend it !

 

Please tell more regarding folders, can you lose them accidentally that way?

 

You just go into your bookmarks and make new folders... Name them what you like. Then drag your bookmarks into the appropriate folder.

I also downloaded a plugin called linkwad, which I remember has something to do with bookmarking, but I don't actually remember what. Might be worth looking up on mozilla's plugins section.
