Hi, Guys I've site with good visitors but less earning. I've good placement of adds as well, and I get 2-3 clicks/day and only 30-40 cents/day I am earning from it. I am earning good with link selling, but I am not happy with addsence. whats the reason guys ? thanks in advance.
Are you sure your ad placement is good? Maybe you should check that. Maybe your topic isn't very lucrative and people aren't interested in buying anything related to it. What's your niche?
Are you sure that you ad placement is good? or then you ad is just match the article? may be the visitors doesn't interesting it...
even if you have alot of visitors and good placement it still depends on the ads, number of clicks and where the click comes from..
Even if you had 1000 visitors in a day, don't expect all 1000 hits will click on your ads. It can also depend on your ad placement, avoid being tricky with it though. I have a blog which can only convert 5% of the actual visitors into clicks. So if, 1000 a day, you'll only get at least 50 clicks for your adsense.
This depends on the nature of visits you are getting. If it is from traffic exchanges, that would not be useful.
hmm, thanks for all help. and what would be the good source for traffic ? as jose mention that traffic exchanges is not useful.
The value of every clicks mostly depends on your niche, there are niche like real estate or medical equipments has higher cost per clicks... Another thing too is your visitors, if they interested on your site and on links you have, they will click ...
Placement of you Adsense ads are very important. It is also important to put some notice in the content itself. Is it food for thought, is it engaging, does it bring some news to the readers or is it just a general "spam" site to get clicks? High rankings are not automatically automagically if you know what I mean
You are optimizing your site with keywords with very low CPC and not measurable CTR. Putting ads on your web pages and enticing people to click to it is not just the key to succeeding with PPC schemes. You need to know your keywords activity such as it's monthly search volume, it's conversion rate and cost per click and trying computing it with considerable dummy figures to project the output whenever the objective has been reached. Piece of advice, do your keyword analysis again. You may have good rankings but you convert not of the visits. You may convert the visits into clicks but not having sufficient CPC rate to leverage from it. Think of it.
generally adsense pays poor, unless you have a large site with many pages of content. Advertising affiliate products through sites like click bank can often be more lucrative, but my advice is to target a specific niche
