Good video ads

Has anyone seen google vids on their adsense before? Saw one for Jackass 2 yesterday...and I was gutted I couldn't click on it!

 

Yes, there ok, but nothing special just yet - it hasn't really taken off.

Yea, I guess so. You think they will get bigger on the video side of ads then?

 

well, personally when there are more advertisers, i think it will take off a bit more - not sure how much - but its likely to quite successful.

Also i think if they re-think the way video ads work and how they are paid to the publisher there will be even more interest in presenting the video ads on the publishers site.

Well I have to say, I would be almost certain to click on a video add if I saw one (maybe just becasue of the novelty that they are so new). Do they payout the same as content blocks? Sorry for all the Q's... XD

 

don't worry that's what this forum is all about; apparently the payouts are fair, but its hard to tell - just like its hard to tell with normal ads - the ads payouts are always changing.

Another thing to consider is - unless your site is anything to do with what video ads are around, then these video ads are not likely to appear often.

Ps, I have just realised I have titled the thread "good" video ads instead of "google" video ads.

 

i had google vids on my site on the day i had been on front of digg. having 30000 unique visitors on a single day.
From this i guess it autoactivates on high traffic pages.
Thats my guess afterall.
