Hi guys, I have a Paris Hilton Fansite. Its got good PR sitewide, its well ranking (page 1 of google) and gets good traffic (lots from google images). I am a prof. SEO so I've got that licked. I get a number of adsense clicks every day without fail but they are SO low value 1 or 2 cents. Any ideas on how to increase this return, sites to block etc? Kind regards, Steve
Hi, I'm really not hot on Adsense, I've only ever stuck the code onto sites and let whatever money comes in, come in. I have just checked some figures and: 7,627 187 2.45% $0.69 $5.29 ecpm is $0.69 whatever that means. Cheers, Steve
Before jumping into things you should always do research. What advertiser would pay for Paris Hilton ? Paris Hilton is a walking advertising disaster... and most advertisers who would pay money,,,,, run from people like her....at best they'll pay pennies... Try something more profitable like helping people fight asthma...

Mmm, interesting response but not very helpful. Ive no interest in building a site about asthma and I dont need to earn money. To reiterate my post is asking for help with a specific site its not a ' how can i earn some money from adsense' enquiry. I earn plenty of money in non-adsense related business and this site is for fun and I like Paris, just thinking there might be a way to make something from my traffic. Thanks,
Try this search, and click on the image, it will remove the frame from google image search and force it straight into your site ~ most probably creates better pageviews etc http://images.google.com/images?q=site:thesuperficial.com The script is: <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript"> if (top.location != self.location) top.location = self.location; </script> EDITED: YOu need to remove safe search to terst it out on the superficial site. i've checked your website, you should change your ad placement. add a big ads rectangle right on the top of content and try to add one in the right sidebar too that would help you.
Yes it is legal, alot of major sites using this. There's nothing wrong with it actually. If you using wordpress, just inside your header.php will do (at least that's what i did.) Glad to be able to help.
Adsense is a disaster for the celebrity niche, I have well over 200+ celeb sites... all I usually get 0.01-0.09 per click. Although every other day i'll get clicks for 0.10-0.70 each. It's just the niche, you have to stick it out and get these tiny clicks or go to a different advertiser.
CPM advertisers are good, if you have enough traffic. Do a search on here, you should come up with a good list of CPM programs.
