Yeah...I like sitemeter as well. I was using Google before, but it wasn't showing any traffic, and I knew that wasn't the case. Sitemeter is a very nice free tracker although they do have premium features if you want to upgrade. I use the free stuff. I get a weekly report via e-mail, but I can go to the site anytime and check my stats which I usually do daily. Sitemeter tells you the number of visitors and pageviews that you have had. You can look at traffic from several different angles including: - Incoming link - Outgoing clicks - By Location - By Referral - World Map view and more than I can't remember. They also have a traffic predictor that predicts your future traffic for the hour, day, week, and month based on the traffic you have currently received. Check it out. http://www.sitemeter.com
I'm a huge fan of Clicky Analytics. They have a great interface and lots of useful reporting features. It's free like Sitemeter, but you can upgrade and get even more features. Here is my unsolicited review that I wrote a few months ago: Clicky Web Analytics Lets You Spy on Your Site Visitors in Real Hope this helps!
I use statcounter... never had a problem with them. They just don't update next day till 1am so you can't look at your 12am - 1am stats till 1:01am
Hi ... sitemap, et al, are good, whereas StatCounter is the best. Click here to find out. It's free, too. Good luck.
??? statcounter is realtime edit: nevermind I though you meant that they update only each 24 hours by bad hehe
Use PHP Web Stat, that is what I use and I find it very good. php-web-statistik.de/index-english.html
