Good to go or not?

I created a social networking site a month ago and it's slowly starting to pick up some memebers.

I'd like to hear some feedback as to wether or not it's a site worth working on or if it's just another dime-a-dozen website.

DP member can create an account but you have to keep it clean cuz my wife looks at the stuff.

Starting off - that's a great domain name.

I know that there's competition in your market, but if you can make it better than the others in some way, you will succeed.

It looks like a modest start - with a fair amount of content already. The MySpace phenomenon is certainly still picking up speed.... other than that, I don't really know that much about these kind of sites.

One thing that I noticed was that the top toolbar ["Home", "Gallery", "Browse", ..."My Account"] spanned more than the provided width. Until I decreased the font size a couple notches. I am not sure if you could prune any of those descriptions, or set it off as a smaller font initially.

Other than that - looks good.

 

Not bad. Has a good feel. I would stick with it.

 

good design, a little too much content and menus hits you at once, theres too many things to do, i think you should offer a tour or something
