Good Time To Start A Proxy Network?

    Hey guys,

I was planning to start a proxy network but I'm starting to wonder. I'm seeing alot of them up for sale, alot of things for promotion.

Is it a good time to start proxy sites or is the the "sell sell sell" moment where everyone is dumping their "stock" before it falls though.
I just don't want to invest if thats whats going to happen.

Better to build and sell a proxy. Making big network and expecting money from ad agencies will not help you.

the more people you have using your proxy, the better for monetising it becomes, once monetised, the more welcome to higher bids based on revenue you will get :)

there are many ppl making proxies and earning well through that

I'm having trouble getting people to click on my ads. I was using google adsense not much luck, then bidvertiser NO luck. I'm getting 200-350 uniques per day but just no clicks. the ads are blended well with the template too: www.unblockthatwebsite.info.

    Ideas?

Have you added meta/keywords tags on your proxy?
Try adding more keywords for your proxy.
As i think the problem is that your ads are not to do with proxys, all i see is hosting , shoes and boot ads.

Right, with google adsense ads they were on topic of proxys. on this new bidvertiser thing they are just wacky. I think I'm just gonna stick with google adsense ads. I just don't want that account to be suspended somehow. I have big sites relying on google adsense

I hear pretty much everyone with proxies uses google adsense.

Yes do the same as above , you need to add proxy related keywords/meta tags it should help you get better ads and gain more traffic.

i.e Proxy, Unblock, Bypass ect ect

Ya Adsense is a lot better for proxys , Bidvertiser don't have many proxy ads, you can edit the ads by hand and tell them what ads to show on your site, but it takes a long time to go thougt them all and there will only be around 5 proxy ads out of all of them on Bidvertiser.

Stick to adsense , better click rate and less hassle.

you need to edit your config.php file to set the title to "BypassTheBlocks.info" instead of SEO optimized. :D

Proxies are hard to make money with. They get blocked very easily by the different filters.

I respectfully disagree. You are right on they get blocked but i know people personally that can start a proxy for 89 cents, and make over $200 with it. Proxys get huge amounts of traffic and if you set your ads up right you can earn a hefty amount. just have to know the tricks of the trade. My proxy is getting around 400 UV/day. that's more then my website that I spend hours working on.

Don't get me wrong, you make me sound like I know what I'm doing. AHA! I'm still learning things myself. I just started my 5 proxys a week ago. However I have learned, SUBMIT SUBMIT SUBMIT to proxy topsites. Proxys are a little different from regular websites. They are much easier to promote. just google proxy topsites and submit to as many as you can. If you have more then 1 proxy, Link them together. I might try some paid stuff soon.
