I have lots of good American techno songs now i wanna go international.
Can anyone recommend me any songs?

Right now my fav artists are:
    DJ tiesto
    DJ Marski
    DJ Remi Poland
    Basshunter (Swedish i believe)

US is too isolated to have good techno music. So many good songs in europe and I'm missing out!

I love Paul Oakenfold, off the top of my head. I suggest you take a look at www.di.fm -- I listen to them quite often and I love their music.

I listen to vocal trance a lot from di.fm, that's normally my fav. It's good for when I'm at work, but there are dozens of channels available on there

proton radio off 'real player' is great; different pc right now don't have the link sorry.

here are some non-specific tracks(meaning most of the time it's not artist and track specific but artist and long 60min play list):

    danny graham-punch funk
dark globe & elite force_strongarm sessions
    Pytzek & Nicol B2B - Live @ Masters
    james zabiela-disk3
    king unique-global scum
    ger stokes

if I get motived I'll convert them to mp3 and make them available on my website for DL

yeah, he's a DJ out of Sweden I think. again sorry for the cryptic name/song but it's a live stream and so usually it's not super descriptive.

I converted them all to mp3's and am uploading them, now to my site. they are the 3-9 minute portions of the broadcasts that I liked.

    ☍☍☍☍☍☍

    east enders
    serendipity
    ruhn song
    danny graham-punch funk
    staple diet1

Are you interested in electronic music or techno as techno is a type of electronic music.

If you want good electronic music in general I would go with some of the following DJs:

    Bob Sinclair
    Erick Morillo
    Pete Tong
    Prodigy
    Shapeshifters
    Joey Negro
    David Guetta
    Chicane
    Ferry Corsten
    Junior Jack
    Roger Sanchez
    etc etc
You might be interested in getting Mixmag it's a UK dance music magazine that runs about $10 but it comes with a free cd of some of the latest music. I love it, used to get it when I lived in America and continue to get it now in the UK. BBC Radio 1 also has live web broadcast you might look into listening to that as well.

Well for someone looking to get started its better than Trance any day. Besides without knowing whether he wants techno or electronic its hard to come up with a specific list.

lol, yeah, i love vocal trance too.

btw, some good non us or english groups are ppk, astral projection, sun project. I don't know if kai tracid is a group or a band, or even if he is in the us or english or not, but he has some wickid ass songs.

right now, I've seen this "new" for me, dj doboy, offers free downloads on his site, and his music is really great, over at di.fm he's got a lot of comments on his tracks and a lot of play-time on air. not all of his singles/tracks can be downloaded though.

Umm... really anything from any of those DJ's are great, perhaps that is why some people on this forum think they are "commercial."

However, my current favourite electro and house cd's are a compilation from a DJ friend of mine in here London if you want to download any of these tracks:

    (electro)
I'm Satisfied (Brett Johnson's World of Nonsense Mix) - Scoper and Bubba
    Picadilly Circuts - Williams
Walking Away (Tocadisco's Acid Disco Mix) - The Egg
    Punch Drunk - Cirez D
Monique (Trick and Kubic Remix) - Kaiser Souzai
    Body Talk - Zoo Brazil
Alto Voltaje - David Amo and Julio Navas
    Atto d'Amore - Serge Santiago
Pressure - David Amo and Julio Navas
Warning Siren (Cass and Mangan Re-work) - Tiefschwarz
Paranoia - Eddu Reig and Salvo Cotanda
The Arrival (The Departure) - Williams

    (house)
    Afrika Soul - Stephen King
Lits to Yourself - Dr. Kucho
Groove to Me - Didier Sinclair and DJ Chris Pi
    2 Spirits - White Label
    Lola's Theme - Shapeshifters
    So Many Times - Gagjo
Be My Friend - Scape feat. D'Empress
    Boogie Tonight - Tweet
    Bodyswerve - MGee
Ethnicity Pt II - Grant Nelson
David (Darren Emerson Remix) - Gus Gus
Shifter - Timo Maas feat MC Chickaboo
Madan (Solveig's Exotic Remix) - Salif Keita
Guitarra G - G Club presents Banda Sonora

    Hope this helps a little!

Trance is not hard at all. Well Hard Trance is, but there's the more uplifting melodic trance like Above & Beyond which kicks it.

I second listening to one of the trance channels on di.fm been really good of late!

I figured you were into this scene, with all your p.l.u.r. trails everywhere! huh Actually more the rave scene then the trance scene, but anyway. Why don't you just put it in your signature to save you from always typing it?

There is nothing commercial house about Prodigy. They have rave hardcore roots. One of their classics on Youtube.

Some of those other DJ's are trance influenced and not house as well.
