I am getting ready to go back to uni for a marketing course next year and am hunting for good student accommodation. Its the one thing I don't really want to get wrong!

I don't know anyone in the area so looking to either go into shared flat or get into stduent halls.

I have been looking at the places on here:
    https://www.beststudenthalls.com/search/city/newcastle-upon-tyne/
    http://www.unite-students.com/newcastle
    http://www.thefoundrynewcastle.com/

Does anyone know of a reliable , safe and importantly cheap place in Newcastle?

Can we presume that you're not majoring in English?:)

Are there any local online classifieds? Have you gone to your uni and checked the boards to see if people are looking to share a place?

Why would you want to? All English graduates will forever be broke.

How cheap is "cheap" to you if I may ask?

Settle petal, it was miss type. Talk about being pedantic. That being said...

It's ironic you said that, considering in plain English I already stated it was a marketing course... Major in English did you? ;)

I would be hoping for less than £130 per week

There is a great one called Gumtree, but usually you don't get the best offers.

I was hoping someone from Newcastle posted here to be honest so they could say which areas were good haha
