Good site for backlink checking

The best one i have used is Yahoo site explorer. Almost all of the other sites use yahoo's API for backlink checking.

 

I would use backlinkwatcher.com or SEO majestic, as this tool lets you check your historical performance

 

Backlink watch has always worked perfectly for me.

 

Thanks to everyone who suggested using Yahoo! to check. I didn't know about the semtex of "link:yoururlhere.com" Very useful!

 

Backlinkwatch was the best. Gives all the details you want. But if you want to know where you stand in the web, site strength indicator is very good.

Yes, I will go with checking at very reputable sites which get the first listing on the google when i search for "backlink checker"

I think if you go for any other sites non reputable sites then you will endup getting fake results.
