Not asking for myself but: Anyone knows for a Hosting company with servers located in US, which offers affordable and reliable reseller hosting plans? Someone wants to start his own Web Hosting business this way...He wants to offer hosting to others, needs a lot of space and bandwith.
checkout budgetreseller.com, they have servers in US as well Also check beachcomber.net, asmallorange.com, jodohost.com and many more good reseller.. BTW: What control panel do you want?
Devotedhost.net (Google it for reviews) - I use them for a few projects I work on.. so far flawless, and from the looks others are happy with them.
hostgator is good enough...but resource restrictions are there. why not start with a small VPS and upgrade as you go ?
What resource restrictions? I was thinking that reseller plan is cheaper then VPS, but OK, any affordable US based VPS server available? To all: Great response! I will check about budget... If any other ideas (reselling plan or other), like VPS or virtal/managed..dedicated or other, please share it. Control panel should be cPannel I guess.
I haven't tried, but have heard good things about "hostgator". Best of luck to your friend. I think the hosting market is already too saturated... Bye
resellerzoom liquidweb accuwebhosting hostgator ev1 dreamhost ive numbered my preferences for a good reseller host
if you have a tight budget Resellerxoom, they hape reseller plans from 4,95US, but some times have some downtimes, or hostgator from 10, really great service
I used HostGator they were great for the first 6 months... Then they went downhill from there. It seems like as they were getting bigger they were having growing pains. I didn't have time to allow them to learn off my hosting account and after I lost a few customers... I had enough and went on a search for webhosting resellers. I went to all the forums and read a ton of "I hate this one" "I love this one" pages. Then I gathered a list and emailed a bunch of them with a ton of questions and based on the questions, I went with Lypha. The second runner up was thegreathostingcompany.com which is a Canadian company with servers in the US. So anyway... I switched to Lypha.com their servers are in the US,UK and AU and they are a larger company with more sites. I had a few issues with the server I was on after a couple of months and now they (Lypha) has moved me off the server and everything is perfect. They also has 24/7 tech support available via chat. And their level 1 support is not bad, but I have found if you go past three days and they can't fix it don't be afraid to bump it up to level 2. Here is their help section. support.lypha.com Plus they let you see what your servers are doing via a third party. support.lypha.com/netstatus/ Also they have a free generic tech support site you can use for your hosting customers. Lypha is a lot better than HostGator and they will try and fix your problem where as with Hostgator they would take their sweet time or ignore me. And with the Lypha tech being available via chat you can light a fire under their butts if you need to. With Hostgator you couldn't. I know this looks sounds like a sales pitch, but this is my experience... so if you like Lypha please throw me a bone and signup under me... Use this link www.lypha.com/idevaffiliate/idevaffiliate.php?id=469 If not, sign up anyway, you won't be sorry... Bob Owner GetPaidToPark.com
You might try https://www.theplanet.com/. I think that several of the recommended hosts listed use theplanet servers anyway.
