Good ranking site with little backlinks

    Hi can anyone let me know why for donation boxes on google uk the number one site ranks so well with almost zero backlinks and not a particularly large site?

    it must be aged site and its having the trust factor credited to their favor by google.

    because of:-
    age factor (very old site)
    domain factor (keyword is domain)
    TLD factor (.co.uk )
    content factor (unique content)

    Have you looked at the lnks using Yahoo site explorer? That will give you a better idea of how many links the site is ranking with.
