I have been thinking about really looking to start capturing more names, emails etc of the visitors of my sites to start integrating email marketing into my overall online marketing system. The problem is my site visitors and users in general are not big online spenders, in that the vast majority of my visitors would be aged between 10 - 18, and there are very few products which can be sold that are directly relevant to my industry. (if anyone has any helpful advice in this regard, I'm all ears) So with this in mind I have my reservations as to just how much financial value I'd be able to extract out of my email list, which makes me question whether a service like aweber (which looks to have a good rep and quite a few features) but unfortunately is a little on the pricey side is worth investing in. So I'm wondering are there any email marketing services out there like aweber, but offer cheaper rates? It would be a bonus if they had all the features aweber has.
Hi, There are some free e-mail marketing service around such as Mailchimp, Mailman and Bravenet. However, mailchimp is free only if you have 100 subscribers or less. Constant Contact provides a 60 free trial.
I am not familiar with awebers service, but I believe your are looking for a way to create and mail your list right? If so, I would look for a free script that has the features you need, so you can control everything and ofcourse not pay anything. One thing to remmember is your host might have a limit on numbers of mail you can sent at a time. You can contact them to have that number increased if necessary
I probably should have given you guys more information. I already run my sites on a dedicated server and if I setup a proper email newsletter style system I'd probably get around 100 new subscribers a day. Not to mention a couple thousand just on intial signup. I'm not really looking to run a free script because I hear that going with an actual ESP will help with deliverablilty along with additional features etc. I was more just wondering if there were services like aweber, but just operating cheaper, because like I said I don't think I'll be able to generate a lot of revenue out of my mailing list (but that said I don't really know I have never really got heavily into email marketing or affiliate marketing before). I imagine that for the most part my email marketing setup would consist of a couple of autoresponders and a weekly email summarising some blog posts hopefully encouraging users to revisit the site and clicking on some Google Ads. So you can see if this is my game plan it is hard to see any great ROI using expensive email services.
Constant Contact is not the cheapest so you'll probably want to avoid that if you are looking to save dollars.

I recommend aweber because they make sure your emails get to the inbox of your subscribers. Why go with anybody else when you already see the best? As for making money from your list. I would go with email submit offers from cpa networks.

If you are looking to build your list then you should go with Aweber, Getresponse, Email Ace, Constact Contact These are not free but if you are serious then paying 20 dollars a month shouldn't be a problem. The free options are just not worth it....The delivery rate is bad and there ads that go out with your message. Join one of the services above if you are serious about your business.
