I've been looking for a dedicated server to run my proxies too.

I think I've almost decided what I'm going to buy. Most probably the $95/mo plan from http://www.layeredtech.com/dedicated-servers/specials.php. Can anyone tell me if it's good enough?

And killafawk, could you please tell me some good dedicated hosts you've come across? :)

Well if it is not duo core then ofcourse it will be burst. coz traffic increases as proxy becomes older.. i had P4 but that was without dual core with 1 GB ram that couldnt resist the traffic so advised to have Dual core with 1 gb ram. for smooth operation.. and yes if you can refer proxy.org forum there are some proxy owner who offers servers at nice rates.

well i came across one site i'm possibly looking to use http://www.alphared.com/listump.cfm. its pretty expensive but it looks like it will get the job done, for 199$ a month(with cpanel) i can get unmetered BW, 1 gig 2.8 ghz, etc.
