I was on Yahoo! Answers when I ran across something. Someone was wondering How To Stop Being Addicted To Porn? Then I started thinking, that might be a good product for clickbank? But why would you want to stop being addicted to porn? LOL

I know I saw a product out there on how to end your addiction to porn. But it looked horrible. Go for it.

Just entered a few keywords in the google keyword tool and there seems to be a market for this. Not very big but there is one.

You might have even better success if you could approach it from the angle "Help your spouse or loved one with their addiction to porn" in some way. Just a thought.

That's cool...but I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone in here now takes a serious look at doing it for a project.

Dude, promote my product then on CB. Check out the affiliate section (will update it and activate the product next week or so). I was hoping to launch it on Jan 1st 2010.

In fact, that was what my sig was about!

100% original/unique ebook by me. Edited by Cognitive Scientist as well.

There's a difference between watching it casually and being addicted to it -- I addressed those issues in the ebook. Kind of the way, why would anyone want to stop being an alcoholic? It's the root and emotional causes behind it.

You really gave out a good idea for people here. The only problem is that people are not taking action to make money from it. I wouldn't do it because I am not interesting in the niche at all LOL.

If a customer started selling the product, they'd probably relapse doing the keyword research. :D

The niche is not about 'porn' but rather helping people overcome an addiction related to unproductive use on the web relating to porn. Porn is the medium not the cause.

Unfortunately, there's a stigma with this addiction -- not much media mainstream coverage about it. There are more research being done to let people know the affects of porn addiction is real. It's a widespread 'underground' addiction.

That's a good thing for you affiliates. We can bring it to the mainstream. It's an "untapped" niche. That's the point! PPC campaigns are good for this.

Why is PPC good for this niche? Most "addicted to porn" search display religious stuff -- "Seek the lord to overcome pornography!" Yet, what about others (or may be single) and addicted to porn? There's no CB products in PPC.

Will this be a big niche in 2010? As far as I know, there are counselor, student research, media projects doing their thesis and work on "porn addiction." One well-known online porn addiction recovery system charges $197 + $47 a month...and this is what one affiliate has to say:

This has been phenomenal. I was already providing information on the issue of pornography and sexual addiction so becoming a Candeo affiliate was a no-brainer for me. I made over $1,000 my first month and it’s grown much faster than I could have guessed. Candeo is a powerful program and they have been so professional to work with. It’s an affiliate marketers dream.

If people watch porn for kicks, then the product is not for them. Much like promoting AA or "Overcome your addiction to alcohol" to college students at a party, as if they're not having a problem from drinking too much.

The product will launch soon: http://tinyurl.com/yaabdgl - I will write a custom article for you if you PM me.

What forums you think it can be promoted on as a sig? I was thinking relationship forums (you know where girls complain their b/f are addicted to porn...), personal development forums, mental health, and ones related to media.

Or, even as a Youtube "joke" video..."Hey...check out FREE xxx...." and then later...it tells them...."Wait a minute, you could be addicted to porn..." Just joking....

The casino industry has created gambling addicts...

The tobacco industry has created cigarette addicts...

The fast-food industry has created "food addicts" obesity and people wanting to lose weight...

The porn industry has created...porn addicts (even those who were not addicted in the first place).

I'm likely to bet, 10% to 20% of people who searches for porn are addicts. 80% may just be causal watchers when they're bored. In terms of hundreds of millions, that's a big number.

If you guys are looking for articles, please PM me.
