I used prleap but I paid something and the release was in google news a day or two later. I thought prweb stopped having free press releases a couple of months ago. Debbie
They stopped free distribution back in October. PR.com seems to get all free releases into Google News. PRleap gets some in for free (I've never had a free one with them not get into Google News, but I've heard some people say theirs hasn't - and they don't guarantee it), but I believe all of the paid ones there definitely get listed.
You won't even have any real results by tomorrow. The "reads" and "pickups" they show in their stats mean almost nothing. You'll either need to hire a tracking / clipping service to get real results (which you won't have for a few weeks likely), or you'll need to spend a few weeks monitoring search engines to look for any real online pickups (and not just reposts of the release). It can take that long for some pickups to get indexed.
