Where is the best place to go for VC or angel money? Is there like a Google for this industry? I'm having a hard time finding a legit source. Most of the places I'm finding are trying to sell ebooks or some other silly service. Thanks in advance.

I remember in the past during the internet boom, there used to be events where VC and people looking for funding mingle. See if there are any of such at your local trade association. Angel Funding are usually from friends and family then when you have something concrete with a workable business plan, you can approach the local trade association, government or banks for financing. I am sure they can provide you with some link-ups somewhere for extra funding. One thing is to make yourself and your product/services known. Once people heard of you, it would be easier to get funding as you would look more credible.
