    Hi

I am getting around 1200 unique visitors with around 5000 page impressions per day. But my CTR & eCPM is very low. I am only making around $12-$15 a day.

I currently have a large top ad & large sky scraper on the right hand side. I also have a small banner at the bottom of some pages. i use 3 ads per page max.

What do you guys consider as a good CTR & eCPM. What do you think my website should be earning.

Any suggestion or tips will be highly appreciated.

I find it strange that you won't share your website URL with everyone. How on earth are you getting over 1200 uniques a day when your so afraid of advertising it?? Without knowing what your site is how is anyone going to be able to answer your question? You might aswell have asked us what you had for dinner tonight....

Sounds good to me. I have a forum with about the same number of visitors per day but only makes $5-10. It's math related.

Members can't help you really if you hesitate to share your site with others. While CTR can be improved by suitable ad placement and blending the ads with the contents, eCPM is mostly dependent on the type of niche. CTR in the range of 5-10% is considered great. Hope it helps :)

So would you consider CTR of 1 to 1.5% poor ?

I am getting average of 100 click per days which sometime generates $15 while other times i am getting 70 clicks which generates $25.

I am abviously getting some poor paying ads. Do you think if i remove some ads say from 3 ads per page to 1 or 2 ads per page, would this generate better paying ads?

I would rather dispay better paying ads with less clicks.

In my opinion, you CTR is pretty nice. It does not low as you think.

    Just consider increasing eCPM :)

I believe your CTR is not too low, it is about 1%.
5000 impression give you 50 click and it provide $12~$15 per day.

Maybe you shall remove the small banner at the bottom and add more high pay keyword into your content

I get 70,000 impressions and only make 20 a day...Should I remove the big ad on the sidebar and only use the ads on the top and bottom of page?

Any tips to increase my eCPM i am willing to do some experimentation.

The highest i made in any one month was around $580 with around 100,000 page impression. Now i have more unique hits and traffic and around 135,000+ impression & am earning around $350.

Something needs to be changed ?

I'm getting about 2000 page impressions per day and no clicks or sometimes maybe one or two, it's really not cool:mad:

it all depends on your ad placement, you are not doing it right ...
its really easy, imagine your self as a visitor and then make your website.
