good or bad strategy?

I have removed all my visible navigation links.

I want people to find me through optimised pages, but ultimately the only place I want them to go, is my landing page.

Therefore I have 30 single post pages all linking to my home page... but not the other way. Nor do they link to each other.

I'm doing this merely to funnel people to where I want them to be, and to hopefully also boost my home page's SEO ranking. I don't really want them reading my 30 odd posts, when there is really only one that is important.

I have a sitemap, so presumably google will know all the content is there. And I keep adding more to it... relevant, high-quality, unique.

Is this a good strategy? Or am I shooting myself in the foot with google this way?

    Thoughts...

Not a bad idea. But unless the pages are indexed they won't pass any link juice to your site.

If all your 30 post are indexed and google consider them valuable, only then links from those 30 post will be useful...
So try to do some seo also for those 30 post...
