Ya, its good news. But don't know why today my PNB card didn't worked in SBI ATM. IT used to work earlier.
Its like google today Serps up and down because of PR updates so for SBI database updates SBI is not supporting any cards they messed up, I had same experience , Hopefully will be fine later But then I tried AXIS bank and it work with Citi, HDFC both but SBI messed up like google , Database updated or PR update same , SBI is google of banks in india
Yeap now its confirm that this news is true not April Fool Joke BTW i have also started thread related to same topic http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1286884 DON.
It is no joke but the fact. RBI finally woke up and did something really good for the common man. Countryboy is right that it is really absurd to pay for withdrawing your own money...I am glad that better sense finally prevailed. Regards, RightMan
I believe Australia recently introduced a law that ATMs can charge whatever they like for transactions, and then you still have to add on the fees your bank charges you. Not really when you consider the manufacturing and operating costs of providing such a convenient service.
WOW! It is really a great news that there is no charges for withdrawal money from ATM in India but i wish this rules applicable to all countries also. Thanks for sharing nice info.
Well reverse of what it is in INDIA Well infrastructure cost i guess is recovered by banks already in terms of other fees they charge in different forms and they are relying on heavy profits so its a good move by RBI
