Hello Everyone, I suppose it's about time I introduced myself, considering I've been a member for a while now, and I've recently jumped into a few posts. My name is Paul Hirsch, and I am a Web developer from Canton, Ohio. My specialty is client-side scripting and design, and I've made a career out of XHTML, CSS, accessibility, usability, semantic validity, JavaScript, some graphic design work, content writing and copy editing, public relations and generally annoying people on the Web (probably what I do best). I'm one of the three founders and administrators of the International Web Developers Network, a professional family of developers from all over the world who publicly assist the general development community within our respective areas of expertise. I'm also a moderator on Web Hosting Talk. Professionally, I am partnered with two other developers. Together we formed Equentity LLC earlier this year, and we've combined and expanded our client base greatly since joining forces. It's been a very fortuitous partnership indeed! I was first made aware of DigitalPoint by a couple of our IWDN members, Corey Bryant and SiteTutor, who both share here from time to time. I probably won't have a great deal of time to hand out here. I work 70-80 hours per week, and I'm actively involved in a few other online communities. Plus, I'm getting married in a month and I just got a new puppy. So time is a precious rare commodity. Apart from working (and I love every minute of what I do), I'm a pianist of 25 years (started when I was five), and avid pool/billiards player, skiier, Judo player, chess player, and I love movies, wine and cheese, in no particular order I sacrifice sleep so I can enjoy life. I've heard this will catch up with me sooner or later (probably sooner), but so far, so good. if you really want to know more about me, www.paulhirsch.com will give you the goods, pics, bios and all that crap. So, hello to everyone, and have a great day!
Ahh, I've been here lurking from time to time. I just figured it was time to jump in and poison some minds Nice to see you Mike! Thank you everyone for your warm welcomes. If you have any words of advice or warnings before I'm waist high in shit, please share
