Hi, I'm looking for some good smf mods but they have to not make use of a .htaccess file, as the host I have my smf board on doesnt allow that. They also have php safemode on, which translates into the automatic package installer failing (i had to manually upload a skin). So can anyone recommend me some mods for a WoW forum?

http://www.tinyportal.net/ SMFHacks.com is also another good one. TP will give you a nice portal for your site giving that community look. It is easy to install but must be installed on the default theme then change the theme. You just download it and go to admin and upload it through the packages section and extract. Takes a 3 minutes. Unzip the packages and upload the mods yourself doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out how to do it I am running 13 smf forums and most are modded by hand not package installer because you have to many packages that do not install because of of index.template has to be left original. I suggest you open one and try to install it and before you installed smf you should have read the requirements of smf before you talk about post counts. I am only trying to help.
