Good method for boosting your directories PR?

Where are good places to look for backlinks inorder to boost your directories PR?

 

Search for some other popular directories and try and get backlinks from those, either by submitting your site or buying a link back.

 

What is the average price per quality backlinks? I'm new to directories, but I'd like to try my hand in them, do you know any good places to start looking for links?

 

I don't know the current prices for backlinks, check out the link selling part of the forum to get a feel for what links go for.

One site I would recommend is http://www.best-web-directories.com. They run a service where you pay them and they submit your site to directories, but what is even more helpful is that they have a list of the directories they submit to, along with a score they assign to them, so you don't waste your time with crappy / non-accepting directories.

Ofc the best place you cant get a backlink is in a webmaster related site... but any backlink is a good backlink (ofc not pr0n backlink or something like that )

www.alivedirectory.com
www.forplex.com
www.gii.in

These are among the highest PR's or strongest available around.
