Hello, As many of you know (most of my threads involve this type of topic) I'm currently trying to get my site OUT of PHP Nuke - we've grown up. I'm using a modified module of Nuke's Web Links and it's working pretty well with Mod Rewrite to make sure the links are friendly and many of the pages are spidered. However, the look and function just isn't that great. Here's what I want in a replacement script, can anyone tell me if there is something available? (Free would be great but I am willing to pay for a good script) If not, I'll get hacking. I can probably modify the existing script or start from scratch but it will be big effort, the code is very sloppy and complicated. 1. I want to be able to write a few paragraphs about select sites and have them show up as "favorites" or "recommended sites" or something. More importantly these sub pages will be content the SE's can index. 2. I have a rating system where linkees put a link or form on their website and visitors can rate their site. Many people are using it. 3. Help me decide - is it more important to count outgoing clicks using a script or link directly to the sites. Currently I'm using a redirect script because there's a "most popular sites" function. 4. Categories and subcategories are important, as well as useful ways to sort the entries. "latest links" and simliar functions. 5. I'm thinking of calling renaming this section from Web Links which sounds so Generic to Tuba and Euphonium Resources - I've also heard that search engines dont seem to like pages named links.html, is that just a myth? 6. Edit: Oh yes, and user submissions with approvals are a must. Here's my current page - sorry for the long URL and the database error at the bottom. http://www.tubanews.com/modules.php?name=Web_Links&l_op=viewlink&cid=4
