At the moment its obvious the product i am selling has an affiliate id on it. Does anyone know any good link cloaking software. Does "bit.ly" work and actually track sales?

Domain cloaks or masks are stealth redirects, and the real URL remains hidden even as the destination page loads. This is unlike URL redirects by bit.ly and other URL shorteners. As the post above says, you need to obtain another domain to create stealth redirects from. You can manage multiple destinations for your links using software like kblinker.com, which has a 7-day free trial.

What is your ultimate goal? Are you just trying to cloak your affiliate link and track it? If so, I have a free script I can give to you. It is in my blog. You can PM me and I will send you the link

bit.ly is just for shortening URLs - it won't track any data about clickthrough rates, etc. I've used a program called Lynx Tracker in the past, but I'm not sure if it's still available anymore.

if you want to hide referrer or prevent user remove of your referrer id from your url, you can use http://offto.net which is going to show destination page in a frame without affiliate url being visible to user
