    try getting a vps, you can find one in the webhosting section for less than $15

    @domainco, this is in the web hosting section which i think you mis read where this thread was located.

    @ op, what is your budget and what are your requirements other than being able to run java?

    for java hosting buying a vps (with high ram ;) ) is the best one

    if you go for sharing lot of issues are there for java ( such as tomcat (or any other server) startup , shutdown , jar files etc )


    wher is the java hosting :) from this company ?

    If your project is already developed in Java - VPS would be a good choice. If it's still in concept phase, suggest you to opt for LAMP ( MySQL and PHP) combination, easy to maintain, you get plenty of developers and often good advice on forums for free.

    Java is primarily used by enterprise class softwares and wouldn't recommend from my experience - unless application really needs only that...
