I suggest tantan photo album for wordpress. I have tried it yesterday. so I think it is a goog plugin.

NextGen Gallery (mentioned above) is good. You could also use WordPress' built in gallery feature with 2.5+.

My favorite is Awsom Pix Gallery, I always found it better than NextGen is.

My favorite plugin is NextGen too ( http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/nextgen-gallery/ )

I use it with the latest version of WordPress

Let's test a couple of plugins and then make your own choice
