So current what I do is: - Submissions to directories - Blog commenting - Forum posting + sigs What I want to do is: - article submission - social bookmarking Anyone have good tips on successful article submission and social bookmarking? Maybe a link to a site that provides a step-by-step guide? Any other suggestions for link development is also appreciated! Thanks!
A good service for article submissions/distribution that i use is submityourarticle.com but it is quite expensive at almost $50/month. It is automated and has an article leveraging system to produce versions of same article. Regarding Social Bookmarking, Onlywire.com provides a reasonable social bookmarking service and they have a free version . A good Ebook to read up on social bookmarking is "Authority Blackbook"
you shud start classified and directory submission, also you can build a video and upload to youtube, etc..
don't forget blog posts, you get contextual links in the article body which is great and niche related of course, there are some blogs that will give you free blog post (you write) in return to unique /original content. i have several fashion blogs (PR1-4) where i offer free links (2 per post) in return to unique and relevant content, you can pm me if you need fashion related links
Yeah - write your own articles and submit them manually to the following article directories: * EzineArticles.com * GoArticles.com * ArticleDashboard.com * SearchWarp.com * ArticlesBase.com * iSnare.com * Buzzle.com * ArticleCity.com * IdeaMarketers.com * ArticleAlley.com * Amazines.com * ArticleTrader.com * WebWorldIndex.com * ArticleSphere.com * BusinessKnowHow.com * ArticlesFactory.com * ContentDesk.com * ArticleCube.com * AfroArticles.com * ArticleBiz.com
For social bookmarking we always recommend manual social bookmarking service. Because in manually you will be able to follow the different rules set by different websites such as space separated or comma separated.
Best thing to do is think outside of the box and explore as many white hat options as possible for getting links. you could try http://websiteadvertisement.net Just post some ads that include links.
Some sites are right for crafting, others for tech. Some require the hottest and latest topics and others don’t. Find a community and topic focus that fits. In addition, you can find social bookmarking sites that have very friendly and supportive communities and others that don’t. Some are more active than others and some even provide incentives like revenue sharing. One of my personal favorites is Tagfoot which is just getting ready to come out of Beta. It's friendly, simple, and offers AdSense and other revenue sharing features.
