Hello i am new to BANS and affiliate based websites in general but ive decided to make a move across from ppc sites. Which i have had quite a lot of success with selling 4 sites in the XX,XXX range. What im thinking of doing with BANS is building an entire network of ebay stores under one domain and link them with each other ultimately increasing backlinks etc. And hopefully boost traffic. Although im not sure how its going to work. For example i have www.sweetestdeals.com but i have started making subdomains and creating BANS sites on them. For instance i have www.huntinggear.sweetestdeals.com www.fighinggear.sweetestdeals.com How would these sites rank in google? I will be developing the main site soon and have links to each store and a bit more conent etc. Is it worth my time continuing? Or should i simply make individual sites with their own domains? I think you would have a lot better luck if you didn't build the sites on subdomains. I know it saves money in the end I think you lose out. Subdomains don't do as good in Google. All of the links would be coming from the same IP address. Of course that would be the case with all domains unless you get hosting from someone who has a multiple IP address deal.. I use seohosting.com and they have 5 IP address with plenty of space and bandwidth for $35 a month Just my opinion
I agree, ultimately I think it is better to go with different domain names. You can probably garner more traffic that way, thus more sales. You could, of course, test it out some. Create five sites using subdomains and five using their own domains and see what kind of search engine rankings you get.
