Good idea, or not? (Affiliate program driven site)

I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not.. it would either be very profitable or fall flat on its face.

Basically.. there are a bunch of earn $1.25 or so for a zipcode or email entereted on a free stuff offer. Like free ipod, or something like that.

These types of sites have been really really popular.. and created a big buzz a little while back, and still do somewhat.

My idea was, to create a directory of sorts of various Freestuff sites, using affilliate links from affilliate programs such as primaryads.

Right now the site is just in planning stages, but I'd like comments on it. If you think it may actually work, I'll go ahead and finish it up.. and buy a domain for it and such. (work on driving traffic too)

www . thejosher.com / musthavefreebies (Don't want SE's to spider that page, since its not going to be the final resting place of the site - please don't post livelinks to it)

I mean, if this just gets say 100 people each day, that find the site and complete one of the offers (they don't even have to complete the signup process.. just enter a zipcode or email on the first page), the payout on these average from $1 - $1.50 each, and some are as much as $10-20. (The "hotties" ;) ) the income potential could be enormous.

I'm just not sure if it will catch on or not :)

(And in case I want to sell the site later on, I've programmed it to make all the links dynamic.. I can change the affilliate ID on every one by editing config.php :) Also, I have a redirect on the links, so users can't tell its a refferal link, just a bounce from my site)

Anyhow, enough babbleing on my part. Please share your ideas/comments/criticism, right now everything is welcome. Design is very basic right now, and once I get the PHP base of the site done, I'll improve it.. right now its just to display the data, and not really to look pretty.
