Do you guys think that it's a better idea to list your site in all the other search engines before you submit it to google? I figure that google may think that if they find you themselves then it actually must be good. Is this a good strategy to try to rank high in the smallest search engines and work each one up until google? Let me know your feedback
Its my understanding that it is better to allow google to find you then hunt them down as you will get indexed more quickly However, for my last sites launched recently I have not submitted tham at all and they are being picked up quite quickly naturally - just used links and adnetwork!!
you should not have to submit your site to google. The googlebot will find it, if you have any links from other sites. PM me your Url and I will give it a link via on of my forums and the googlebots will read it and run to your site. You will notice them on your site via your stats, but it ould take up to 3-4 weeks before an indexing or deep crawl, all depends on the formate of the site and contents etc. e.
Basically, the adnetwork is a group of sites that link to each others websites. That's an overly simple explaination, but it's a great way to get some links to your site. You can join or read more at www.digitalpoint.com/tools/ad-network. And there's a whole section of the forum dedicated to discussing it. Good luck!
can you give me some example of adnetwork? besides from DP's coop,I really want to boost my BL's Thanks
you could do some reciprocal link exchange with other webmasters or related sites. or you could "buy" some text link ads in other places. there are many sites out there which does that. textlinkbrokers, linkworth, text-link-ads
