I wonder about such a claim as well?

Not realistic in a shared hosting environment.

lunarpages, but if you have a high trafficked site then stay away from shared hosting from them.

That's probably about every other hosting provider out there. :)

Try Bluehost.com or HostGator.com HostGator.com is better for dynamic/DB driven sites.

PS: Paypal has that browser plugin now. It will supposedly allow you to generate a unique credit card number for each purchase. I have not tried it yet, but will do so in a month or so. I don't know if Paypal limits it to countries, accounts, etc. If it does not, Paypal can be used nearly anywhere.

I've used MidPhase (More $$$) and HostGator (less $$$).

Both have been excellent in my experience. I've had 4 accounts with MidPhase for about 4 years and 2 accounts with HostGator for about 2 years.

I don't want a reseller account. Thats a waste of money because i don't want to resell it to anyone. I want a normal shared account(like 7-15 bucks a month) with multiple add-on domain hosting, with cpanel and fantastico, you know like how hostgator does it.

As already pointed out - try to look for opinions in WHT.
Based on that forum's opinion, Downtownhost and Steadfast seem to be quite good, HostGator as well, but it's an overselling host. Especially the first one seems to have (almost?) no negative reviews..
    EDIT:
domainer_10: go and take a look at www.downtownhost.com you shouldn't regret it ;)

I'm sure it's been mentioned a ton, but HostGator is excellent and they accept PayPal. My hosting through them is only $9.95 a month and plenty for all the sites I host.

http://webhostinggeeks.com/multipledomainhosting.html - host up to 10 additional domains on the same account.

Bluehost and 1and1 have my vote. :)

OK, one thing more from me: any hosting that promises something like 1TB+ of BW and 500 GB of space for 10 bucks IS NOT reliable (either you won't be able to use it cause they'll suspend you for too high resource usage, or their servers suck big time)
Golden rule of webhosting[and maybe of business in general]:YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

Iand1 doesn't have fantastico. Bluehost does have fantastico and multi domain hosting, but ive heard bad things about bluehost I think, plus even your site reviewers have bad thoughts of them.

Looks like Hostgator is still the only large company that has fantastic/cpanel and multi domain hosting for cheap.

Ive checked out downtownhost.com and they seem better than hostgator cause they aren't a overseller promising all that B.S (unlimited bandwith) and they have all good reviews. They offer everything hostgator does too.
