1and1. They have great hosting plans and they accept paypal, but you should know their support is absolutely terrible. But if you know what you're doing and won't need customer support, you shouldn't have any problems.
1&1? That's the worst host I've ever dealt with! Stay away from it, trust me. Anyway, HostGator and Lunarpages are the best quality host in the industry. If you are not sure what host to go with, go to some forums or webhost reviews sites. Examples are: WebHostingTalk.com or WebhostingUnleashed.com and etc. I hope this helps. if ever you like it, +Rep is much appreciated.
I just started hosting some sites with hostdogs.com. Less than $3 month and the customer support has been great so far. Only been doing it for about 2 weeks but very impressed so far! thallewell
I am very much liking HostICan (hostican.com) I started with them about 8-10 months ago, no complaints from me at all. Last July a launched a membership site.... so many people joined at once, causing the site to go down. I called them, and it was back online quickly. It was my fault for not realizing I needed my own server or vps. Joel
I usually buy my domain through Godaddy and then host with Hostgator. Be sure you use a different host than domain supplier. donrock
Disclaimer: I am an affiliate partner for HostGator (see sig below). But I am also a user and run a lot of websites on their hosting services. Never had any problems and they are fast to respond to questions, etc. Never had any complaints from my referrals to them, either. And they do take Paypal.
What about Rackspace or is that for multiple hosting? I use Hostgator and 1and1 (i know i know!). Their customer service is not good but I have had no problem with my hosting through them.
Check out hostmonster / bluehost and hostgator. Also I've been happy with my Lunarpages shared account.
I've been using Bluehost and Dreamhost. It seems like Bluehost is a bit faster & more reliable, but Dreamhost offers some options like reselling and auto-install for beta versions of some software. Bluehost takes pay pal, not sure about Dreamhost.
I would look at WebHostingTalk.com and check their web hosting offers section, you can find a LOT of hosts listed there.
